I had a client from Texas come in for a reading. She asked me whether it was possible for her two-year-old son to connect with someone who was of spirit.

I assured her that little ones certainly can talk to someone who's passed. In fact, they are more likely to hear spirits than adults. Being so young, children's senses aren't hindered by adult doubts that say,  "It isn't possible."

Here's Susan's story:

Jeffrey was only two years old when his mother saw him standing in the corner talking. He was hugging someone, but his mother couldn't see who—or what—was there. When she asked who he was talking to, her son replied,  “I’m talking to my brother.”

You can imagine the surprise and bewilderment on Mom’s face. Later, she told her husband what Jeffrey had said. "How is this possible," she asked her husband? How would Jeffrey know I had two miscarriages before he was born? We told no one. Could it be possible that one of those children is watching over Jeffrey?

A week had passed when Susan's husband saw Jeffrey engaged in conversation and hugging what his dad thought was thin air. So, Dad asked Jeffrey who he was talking to.

Once again, Jeffrey said, "I'm talking to my brother."

But you don't have a brother, Dad said.

Jeffrey explained that his brother had died before Jeffrey was born. Jeffrey went on to say, "Mommy carried him in her tummy." "My brother tells me he’s here to watch over me and to show me that when you love you never die."
